Where to eat in Thailand
There is no dearth of food options in the city for the TESOL candidates. You
can have noodles from the food stalls, seafood from the local restaurants or
exquisite food from the hotels. The TEFL trainees will never be disappointed
no matter from where they have their food from. Some of the best places to
have food in Bangkok are:
1) Ratchaprasong – It has a variety of places to have food from. The place
is known for the delicious food offered by the roadside stalls. The TESOL
enrollees can try out the grilled meat or the authentic Thai noodles.
2) Silom – For the TESOL trainees this place is home to innumerable local
and international restaurants, bistros, food stalls and cafes If you have
money head for Sirocco or Breeze for some heavenly at high prices. These two
are actually rooftop restaurants. For the fast food loving TEFL trainees,
McDonalds or Burger King are the suitable places to run to for grabbing a
wholesome bite. If you are in Thailand, ensure that besides taking the TESOL
course you try some real Thai food from the curbside food stalls. It will be
a delightful experience.
3) Rattanakosin – TEFL candidates should go to Khao San Road for Western and
Thai fusion food. This is the Old City and you can find plenty of such
restaurants in this area.
4) Chinatown – Yaowarat is a good place for the TESOL students to head to
for some authentic Chinese food. The area has some of the best and most
expensive Chinese restaurants.
5) Shopping Malls – While you visit the shopping mall like MBK and Siam
Paragon make sure to have food at their food courts. The experience and the
food will haunt you for good reasons even when you live Bangkok.
